Wood Burning Fireplaces

The following information will help you determine proper fit for your fireplace. Taking careful measurements will help ensure the unit will work for your fireplace. We can help you make sure the Fireplace Radiator™ will work for your fireplace.

The Fireplace Radiator™ is a quality appliance designed to work with most wood and coal burning fireplaces. If you already have glass doors or wire screen mesh they must be able to raise 1 1/8 inch to accommodate the front air diverter bar of the Fireplace Radiator™ (glass doors rest on top of diverter bar). The front air diverter bar must sit flush with the outside of your fireplace. Your fireplace must have a depth of at least 16 1/2" for proper fit. The plenum (radiator) will extend to a maximum of 26" in depth, however the depth of your fireplace can be deeper. It will work with fireplace openings up to 51" wide. If your fireplace is wider than 51" please email us for the availability of a extension kit that will accommodate larger fireplace openings.

The diverter bar at it's shortest is 36" wide ( your fireplace opening can be shorter). When centered in front of your fireplace, you will need an additional 6 1/2" on either the left or right side for the fan box to have the proper fitting. You must take into consideration pillars and decorative wood trim (diverter bar and fan box must rest flush with fireplace opening).
