About a month and a half ago, I purchased a Fireplace Radiator™ from you. You were VERY helpful and answered my questions thoroughly. One of my concerns prior to purchase was whether it really worked well or not as I had checked all over the Internet but had not found any independent reviews. Now that I have mine, it's made a big difference in heating the family room in my home. I think that others may be hesitant to consider the Fireplace Radiator™ without hearing a positive review same as I initially was. To that end, I offer up to you installation pictures and a review I wrote. We've had a good experience with it and hopefully this will help others in making their decision as well. I have a masonry fireplace and this year I wanted to burn wood without letting all the heat escape up the chimney. After checking out a few fireplace fans the Fireplace Radiator™ with the external fan, cast iron steel and free shipping was on the top of my list. I also checked out a fireplace shop in my neighborhood they recommended an insert with a liner and with installation the cost would be well over $3000. I decided to order the Fireplace Radiator™ the next day and it arrived the next day by FedEx. The unit came in a box weighing over 65 pounds and after reading the instructions, I put it together. I had to wait a couple of hours for the furnace cement to set so I could not start a fire that evening. The next day I started up the fire and within minutes, it was pumping warm air and once the fire was going the radiator started pumping some heat! My room temperature maintained a comfortable 71 degrees all evening. Without the radiator, the heat would stay around the fireplace but would not heat the room and actually, with a normal masonry fireplace a lot of the heat just goes up the flue. The plenum (radiator) also deflects a lot of the heat back into the room and that is a plus. I did have a slight problem with the fan as the knob broke off the shaft during shipment. The fan still worked without the knob. After e-mailing Kristin at customer support, another fan was sent to me immediately. Thanks for the great customer support and what a great invention! I just wanted to say thanks! Also, since it has the large cast iron surface to heat in the back, I'm now building the fire in such a way as to make the flame and coals be close to the back, and push new logs in from the front. This keeps the heat trapped between a log and the radiator. In particular, I try to make sure that a log is not *blocking* the heat from hitting the Fireplace Radiator™ . I stuck a meat thermometer in front of the air vent, and it went off the scale. I estimate over 300ºF. Thanks for a great product and great service! David - Emporia, Kansas

The Fireplace Radiator™ arrived in good condition and on the scheduled day I had expected it. I had it in place in less than 1 hour. I am very pleased with the product. I am delighted with the Fireplace Radiator™. I have a heatilator fireplace, and normally it would take quite a bit of wood to heat it up before it radiates any serious heat. Now I can flick the fan on immediately after lighting just the kindling, and it generates heat right away. And overall I'm using 1/2 to 1/3 the wood for the same heat. It's just super.
